The President of Belarus has convened a meeting on improving the work with personnel. The circle of participants is wide – from the leadership of the Presidential Administration, government and parliament to governors and regional assistants. Alexander Lukashenko updated personnel approaches at recent meetings on education and medicine. Today he held a similar discussion and asked the managers a lot of questions. Are the measures taken enough? Are additional solutions needed? How to improve discipline? HR responsibility. All proposals should be aimed at attracting and retaining the country's human resources potential. The main criterion for evaluating the work of managers, according to the President, is the result. In the regions, this is the implementation of "One district – one project" investment program. The local authorities will be assessed according to their initiatives and business vision. Poor managers will be fired, not transferred, said the President. A liberal approach to such personnel is unacceptable, the Head of State is convinced.
