Meeting on improving the order of production and sale of tobacco products

Maximize the volumes of export and production. Prospects for the development of the tobacco industry of the country – the topic of the meeting in the Palace of Independence. The issue is under the control, because it is an important source of budget replenishment. Back in the early 2000s, a number of decisions were made that made it possible to load the factories with work. Six years ago, an investment project to create a non-state trade network was realized, and exports were established. Recently, the urgent problem of sanctions has been solved. The industry is fully supplied with raw materials and supplies. The net effect at the end of last year amounted to 2.5 billion rubles. The President of the Republic of Belarus noted that the recent trends are alarming. The reasons are different, but it is necessary to work out measures to preserve both the production volumes and well-functioning supplies based on the interests of the state and labor collectives. For three decades Belarus has had a state monopoly on the production of tobacco products. Alcoholic beverages are under similar strict control.
