Lukashenko made new appointments

Alexander Lukashenko made new appointments in various areas, e.g. in the armed forces and the Defense Ministry. The Investigative Committee has a new chairman – Dmitry Gora. The head of the Emergencies Ministry was replaced by Vadim Sinyavsky. Andrei Zhuk is now Deputy Defense Minister. The pool of deputies in the ministries of energy, foreign affairs, justice, and other departments has been significantly updated. Alexander Lukashenko also appointed new rectors of three universities – Gomel Technical University, Polessky State University, and Polotsky University.
