Head of Belarusian state paying official visit to Uzbekistan

President of Belarus is paying an official visit to Uzbekistan. In Tashkent, the leaders of the two countries will hold talks. The main topics for discussion are the expansion of trade and economic cooperation, development of industrial cooperation and the organization of assembly enterprises for the production of equipment needed in Uzbekistan. A joint forum of business and interregional cooperation has already started in Tashkent. According to preliminary estimates, the total portfolio of contracts can reach $100 million. Besides, a large-scale exhibition of Belarusian manufacturers will be organized. The trade turnover between the countries exhibits positive trends. Three assembly plants of Belarusian machinery already operate in Uzbekistan.
