President A. Lukashenko visited the Obuz-Lesnovo military training ground. The head of state was shown domestic developments in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles, including novelties and improvements to previous models. Aleksandr Lukashenko noted that the production of such vehicles should be oriented towards domestic components to the maximum extent possible. The President was also informed about the other side of the issue – the prospects of development of electronic warfare in countering unmanned aircraft. A total of more than 30 domestically produced military products were presented by organisations belonging to the system of the State Committee of Military Industry and enterprises of the defence sector of the economy. Thirteen organisations of the arms department and six companies demonstrated their developments. The main emphasis during the show was placed on domestic unmanned aerial systems.
