CIS summit kicks off in Astana

The President of Belarus takes part in the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth. The leaders have a dozen and a half questions on the agenda at once. Traditionally, at the beginning of the work, the participants will exchange views in a narrow format, then delegations will join the politicians. One of the main topics is the role of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS member states in the development of the Commonwealth. It is expected that the Presidents will also adopt a number of documents aimed at further development of ties in the economy, trade, security, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
