Belarus President visits Lida district

Reconstruction of roads, the situation of agriculture, support of industrial enterprises and the future of labor collectives were on agenda of the President’s working trip to the Lida district, Grodno region. Upon arrival, the head of state was at once briefed on the situation in the entire region concerning both agricultural and manufacturing sectors. It is necessary to restore 12 faulty bridges on major motorways soon. Belarus President visited Neman Glassworks, got acquainted with glass wool and crystal production, and also visited the exhibition of finished products. The president stressed that in the current situation it was crucial to keep people employed. Aleksandr Lukashenko promised support for Neman Glassworks and announced expansion plans as he talked to the staff of the company.
