Belarus President met with Turkish National Defense Ministe

Belarus has always been a reliable friend of Turkey and will remain committed to this policy. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko made the statement as he met with Turkish National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar. In his words, Belarus closely follows actions of the Turkish army. The president remarked he thought highly of the effectiveness and planned nature of actions of the Turkish armed forces. Belarus and Turkey maintain close cooperation in all areas. In recent years, mutual trade turnover stood at $1 billion. In Belarus, there are over 300 enterprises with Turkish capital.
