Belarus President makes new appointments

Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko made new appointments. The changes concerned local authorities and diplomatic body. Alexei Samosuyev will represent Belarusian interests in the Republic of Finland with a concurrent accreditation to the Kingdom of Denmark. Vyacheslav Bril was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Cote d'Ivoire. Vasily Markovich was named Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Latvia. The latter told the media that the relations with Latvia have been developing positively, but cooperation should be intensified for the benefit of the two states.
