Belarus is ready to help resolve the conflict in the region through diplomacy

The only way to stop the escalation in the region is at the negotiating table. The President of Belarus once again called on all parties to dialogue, because this is the only way to prevent bloodshed. The day before, at an emergency meeting with the military bloc, Alexander Lukashenko set the record straight on many issues on the current agenda. Official Minsk always talks about peace, warns about the consequences of armed rhetoric, reminds of the too high price of conflicts. Today, also, Belarus is ready to help resolve the situation through diplomacy. And while there is still such a possibility. At the same time, answering journalists' questions immediately after the meeting, Alexander Lukashenko assured that our army was not participating in the military operation, and we were not asked to do so either. There is no threat for Belarus: our southern border is reliably protected. A more urgent task is to determine the defense of the western frontiers. The head of state commented on the fears of our citizens about possible threats to Belarus. There is no reason to panic! Our military has a clear task: every Belarusian must feel protected. And local authorities, as before, need to ensure the normal operation of the economy and the solution of pressing issues of people.
