Alexander Lukashenko presented state awards to athletes and coaches of Belarusian kayak and canoe team

Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has presented state awards to athletes and coaches of the Belarusian kayak and canoe team. He called it the most steadily performing and successful national team of the decade. The president said that this sport is truly Belarusian and that fans got used to victories of the Belarusian kayak and canoe team at biggest international events. Athletes should compete, first of all, for victory, not for money, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said at the meeting with members of the national rowing team.
