Alexander Lukashenko met with Patriarch Kirill

Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko met with Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, who is in our country on a visit. The day before, Patriarch Kirill took part in the celebration of the 1030th anniversary of the Orthodox Christianity in Belarus and conducted a Divine Liturgy in Polotsk. In Belarus, the state and the church have established partnership relations. In our country, everything is done to maintain unity among the people and the church. Belarus President considers the visit of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia to Belarus a good sign. The head of state invited the Patriarch to the anniversary of the Spaso-Evfrosinievskiy monastery. In 2025, the monastery will turn 900 years.
