Aleksandr Lukashenko pays working visit to Vitebsk region

The head of state visited the "Legmash" enterprise in Orsha. Various types of industrial products are manufactured here. Recently, the product line has been expanded to include special-purpose products for the military-industrial complex. At the same time, the task is to maintain and increase the volume of "peaceful" products. For many years "Legmash" has been producing and is still producing goods from cast iron frying pans and cauldrons to products intended for the oil and gas industry. Those, among other things, shaped a significant portion of the company’s exports. The President emphasizes that Belarus should provide itself with its own products in the military-industrial complex as much as possible. The recently adopted National Security Concept and Military Doctrine are aimed at this, among other things.
