Today is the first day of Belarus President official visit to Egypt. The aircraft of the head of state landed at Cairo International Airport. The talks started with an official welcoming ceremony at the President’s Palace. This is the third visit of Aleksandr Lukashenko to Egypt in the history of bilateral relations. The presidents held one-on-one talks to be later joined by members of their delegations. The heads of state will review progress in implementing previous agreements, as well as cooperation prospects in trade, economy and humanitarian affairs. The countries are working on bilateral projects. Most of them are focused on industrial cooperation. In 2019, bilateral trade grew by more than a third.
