In particular, they discussed an investment project to produce paper serving as the basis for decorative facing materials. The implementation of the project was delayed, and part of the equipment was unsuitable. Litigation against a supplier of the equipment has begun. Aleksandr Lukashenko firmly demanded that the interests of the Belarusian side be strictly protected, and this concerned not only this very case. The President made a number of important statements on problems with buying natural gas and oil from Russia, emphasizing the inviolability of the sovereignty and independence of Belarus.
