A meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State was held in Moscow. This unique format of integration association, where key political and economic decisions are made, set the direction for a new stage of integration development in all areas. This was announced by Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko following the meeting. They discussed the new pace of development of the Union State and the desire to "drive by reality" by making key decisions for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries. Following the meeting, the leaders signed seven documents: they endorsed the decision on commuter passenger service, supported the creation of the Union State Committee for Standardization and Quality, and instructed them to prepare guidelines for the implementation of the provisions of the Treaty on the Establishment of the Union State for the next three-year period.
