The international arts festival "Slavic Bazaar in Vitebsk" has become a family holiday and a celebration of traditional values, the head of state noted in his welcoming speech. The current forum brought together like-minded people from four dozen countries from Russia to India and from China to Colombia. The awards ceremony took place on the stage of the Summer Amphitheater. The President presented the Union State Prizes in the field of literature and art for 2023-2024 to people who made a significant contribution to strengthening friendship between the peoples of Belarus and Russia. Russian artist Grigory Leps was awarded a special award from the President of Belarus "Through art to peace and mutual understanding".
