On 30 August, President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko held a number of international telephone conversations. The head of state received calls from the leaders of foreign states: President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. There were also telephone conversations with Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev and Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly Valentina Matviyenko. They discussed issues related to the development of bilateral relations and the forthcoming summit meeting in early October.
