A.Lukashenko: New jobs must be created more actively in satellite cities of Minsk

It is necessary to actively create new jobs in the satellite towns of Minsk. President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said this the day before, receiving a report from the chairman of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee Alexander Turchin. The report contains all aspects of the development of the central region. The parties also talked about housing for doctors, and about the status of Borovlyany. There have already been selected two land plots for the construction of rental housing. At the same time, they will conduct an experiment: after 10 or 15 years, doctors will be able to redeem their rental apartments. The President supported the proposal. But the question of giving Borovlyany the status of a city is not so unambiguous. Its solution requires additional comprehensive study, taking into account the opinions of people. On the whole, the past year was successful for the central region. And this bar cannot be lowered. Minsk region has always been a example of development. It is important to bring other cities up to the metropolitan standard. The President called the development of settlements around the capital a priority. This also applies to housing construction and the creation of new industries.
