The need to quickly resolve the situation in Ukraine was discussed today at a meeting of the President of Belarus with the Ukrainian politician and statesman Viktor Medvedchuk. Alexander Lukashenko stressed how important it is to hear information about what is happening with the neighbors. The situation in the Donbass worries Belarus. Our country has become the second home for many Ukrainians, who were forced to leave their homes because of the conflict. Official Minsk took a balanced position on the Ukrainian conflict, in every way contributing to the normalization of the situation in the region. Experts agree that there is no alternative to the Minsk agreements. At the meeting with the head of the Belarusian state, a number of issues were discussed concerning the establishment of cooperation, which may occur precisely in the sphere of peaceful settlement.
