The borders of the Union State in the western direction are guarded by a regional group of troops. This is a joint association of the armed forces of Belarus and Russia and the main instrument of defense of the Union State. A. Lukashenko assured that Belarus, for its part, fulfills all obligations to protect the Union borders. A. Belousov, in turn, stressed that the international situation continues to deteriorate. This requires proactive actions that would reduce the degree of tension.
