A.Lukashenko handed over state awards

A.Lukashenko handed over state awards to merited people in different areas, as well as general's shoulder straps to highest officers. The solemn ceremony was held at the Palace of Independence. As the Head of State noted, the ceremony of conferring state awards has a deep meaning. This is the fact of public acknowledgment of the merits of the people, whose labor maintains the country's daily life. 40 people participated in the ceremony. They are workers of the agro-industrial complex and the service industry, educational institutions, science, sports, representatives of the army and the law enforcement agencies.
