Today Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin have had a phone conversation. The heads of state discussed the current agenda and bilateral relations, including the work on implementing the agreements reached during their previous personal meetings. The presidents also exchanged views on the international agenda. This very day Aleksandr Lukashenko and Russia’s Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev had a phone conversation as well. The parties discussed bilateral relations across multiple areas and the role of governments in addressing remaining issues. They expressed confidence that mutually beneficial cooperation in the bilateral format and as part of integration projects will help improve the well-being of people and enhance the inter-state dialogue.
