A.Lukashenko: Dates of parliamentary and presidential elections to be set in March-April

Dozens of topics were touched on today during the Big Conversation with the President that took place in the Belexpo exhibition centre in Minsk. Taking part in the event were over 200 people. These are not only reporters, but also political analysts, economists, real economic sector employees, representatives of public associations. Alexander Lukashenko focused on Belarus-Russia relations several times. According to the head of state, the union is good only on the principles of equality. He assured that Russia has no intention to absorb Belarus. Talking about the domestic policy, the President noted: a lot has been done in Belarus so that a person could earn money for himself and his family. The upcoming election campaign will become a kind of a test for the authorities. The decision on the dates of the parliamentary and presidential elections in Belarus will be made in March-April.
