A. Lukashenko convened a meeting to summarize the results of a comprehensive review of the Armed Forces

Around 300 people participated, including the commanders of the units involved in the review. A key feature of the review was its organization. The Head of State placed military units on combat alert, bypassing the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff. Aleksandr Lukashenko personally oversaw the review, regularly hearing reports from the State Secretary of the Security Council.
