A.Lukashenko: Constitutional Referendum To Be Held In Second Half Of February

The draft of the new Constitution will be announced next week. The day before, a final meeting was held at the Palace of Independence, at which all sections of the document were once again considered in detail. The exact date for public discussion has not yet been announced: everything will depend on the activity of the Belarusians. Citizens can send their constructive proposals to the parliament, the Presidential Administration, the National Center for Legal Information, as well as to the media. All opinions will be heard. After a wide discussion by the Belarusians, the work on the Basic Law of the country will continue. The final word will be expressed by the citizens at the referendum.
