A.Lukashenko approves decision to protect state border in 2021

President Aleksandr Lukashenko received the head of the State Border Committee Anatoly Lappo with a report. Border security is one of the foundations of state's functioning. The past year was in many ways difficult, but the border guards coped with the task. In general, the state border of Belarus is under strict control. Recently, the number of violations has almost halved. The State Border Committee invested forces and means in the development of infrastructure. Specialists also carried out an audit of the borders: 80 kilometers of the border with Ukraine were marked, over a thousand border signs were installed. Following the meeting at the Palace of Independence, the President approved the decision to protect the state border of Belarus.
