Parliamentary cooperation between Belarus and Laos

An official meeting between Natalya Kochanova, Chairwoman of the Council of the Republic, and Thongsavanh Phomvihane, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Laos, took place in Minsk. The main topics are interparliamentary contacts, economics and humanitarian relations. The head of the upper house of the Belarusian parliament stressed Belarus' readiness not only to supply high-demand products, but also to develop deep production cooperation through joint ventures. It was noted at the meeting that the relations between Minsk and Vientiane have always been characterized by mutual understanding and mutual trust, and the parliamentary friendship groups give them a new development.
