Sergei Rachkov, Chairman of the House of Representatives' Standing Commission on International Affairs, noted that Latin America is an interesting region that offers significant opportunities. Close relations have been established with the parliaments of Cuba, Venezuela, Bolivia, Ecuador, and Brazil. Trade turnover between Belarus and Latin American countries increased by nearly 50% last year. With the right approach, these figures could be increased even further.
