On 21-22 December, the President of Belarus pays a working visit to Russia

Aleksandr Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin met in St. Petersburg. The Heads of State held face-to-face talks. At the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library, politicians discussed the agenda of the Union State and the economic plans of Minsk and Moscow for 2026. The leaders also shared their impressions of the recent Belarusian People's Congress. On 21 December, St. Petersburg hosted the EAEU Summit. The meetings were held in narrow and extended formats. The leaders of the Eurasian union discussed pressing issues. Aleksandr Lukashenko summed up the results of Belarus' presidency in the EAEU. In the extended format, the Heads of State were joined by ministers, government members and representatives of the guest countries, including Indonesia, Iran and Cuba.
