The pharmaceutical industry has worked effectively

According to the results of the first quarter of 2022, the Belarusian pharmaceutical industry has worked steadily and efficiently. Production capacities are loaded at 100%. The day before, General Director of Belpharmprom Sergei Kazakevich commented on the situation in the industry to journalists. He noted that today the main work is being done to replace suppliers of auxiliary raw materials. The holding works with enterprises both in Belarus and Russia. This collaboration is already bearing fruit. For example, one of the partners, the Belarusian Glass Company, organized an import-substituting production of syringe-filled ampoules, which are used in the manufacture of medicines. In the coming months, it is expected that the production of a glass bottle for infusion solutions will be launched – the same item that was previously purchased in Ukraine.
