Moscow and Minsk intend to strengthen cooperation within the Union State. A super favorability regime is being introduced for Belarusian enterprises, and prices for Russian oil will become more optimal. These are just some of the decisions taken following the talks between Prime Ministers Roman Golovchenko and Mikhail Mishustin in Moscow. As the Belarusian PM noted, an important set of issues concerned changes in the sphere of cooperation in connection with the imposition of sanctions. A decision was made on maximum import substitution. As Roman Golovchenko emphasized, there is a great understanding that we must ensure our own technological independence. We are talking primarily about the field of mechanical engineering, including the automotive industry and agricultural engineering, as well as microelectronics.
