Agricultural enterprises of the Minsk region are ready for spring field work. Under favorable weather conditions, spring sowing will take no more than 10 days. All districts have enough equipment and machine operators. Despite minor frosts, potash fertilizers have already been applied on an area of over 200,000 hectares. The priority is winter crops and corn. The plan is to harvest 600,000 tons of corn this year, which is one and a half times more than last year. In general, the grain harvest in the central region this year will exceed two million tons. This spring, farmers will also use new agricultural machinery, i.e. 28 new Amkodor grain dryers and 12-meter sowing units.
