The Ministry of Economy summarized the past six months. In May, a record low inflation rate of 3.7% was observed in Belarus. This is a historical minimum. Now the figure has fallen even lower, down to 2.9% in annual terms. Low inflation contributes to higher purchasing power, as well as trade turnover rate. Retail trade has become one of the drivers of economic recovery. Over the past 6 months the GDP has recovered and exhibits consistent growth.
