Promising cooperation with the Irkutsk region

The Irkutsk region is interested in cooperation with Belarus, and first of all in joint production. There are plans to open joint enterprises with Belarusian or local capital. One of the directions is the assembly of elevators. By 2024, the Irkutsk region must replace two thousand elevators. At the moment, 90% of products supplied to Belarus from this region of Russia are aluminum and its derivatives. In the opposite direction is agricultural production. Recently, a service center for maintenance of Belarusian tractors has been launched in Irkutsk.
