Production base of Minsk Technopark to be increased

The production base of the Minsk City Technopark will grow by 150,000 square meters by the end of 2023. A third of the plans for the year have been completed. All works on the modernization and reconstruction of the former empty areas of the motorbike plant are being carried out in accordance with the schedule. This was stated during the inspection of the facility by the authorized representative of the President of Belarus in the city of Minsk, Chairperson of the Council of the Republic Natalya Kochanova. Almost 120 thousand square meters have been contracted. Export-oriented, science-intensive, innovative enterprises will place their production there. A part of the production will be related to the Motovelo profile. The modernization of empty facilities on the territory of the enterprise has been carried out since 2021, without stopping the existing production. The plant is working to increase the level of localization and release new types of products. Such a task was set by the Head of State. New enterprises will allow, among other things, the bicycle factory to strengthen its technological independence from the supply of imported products.
