Presidential Decree in action: 2,500 Belarusians bought timber at competitive prices

Two and a half thousand Belarusians took advantage of the opportunity to purchase timber at better prices in the first half of the year. We are talking about the implementation of a special decree of the President, which optimized the mechanism for the sale of this raw material for the construction, reconstruction, repair of residential buildings or outbuildings. In general, the forestry industry, despite the sanctions, managed to maintain production volumes and increase the supply of products. At the moment, the needs of woodworking enterprises of various forms of ownership are completely covered. Over 7 months of the year, more than 10 million cubic meters of wood have been processed – this is 80 percent compared to the same period last year.
