Growth of the passenger flow is observed on all types of transport in Belarus, including aviation. Over the 8 months, the National airport Minsk has provided services to 1 million 600 thousand passengers (growth more than a quarter). The work on loading the airport is centered at attraction of air carriers, first of all Russian ones, as well as development of new directions of passenger and cargo transportation. Regular flights are carried out by ten airlines. A large-scale overhaul is planned for the railways. A part of the carriages have their operating life almost depleted. They are planned to be replaced with new ones within 10 years.
