Organic agriculture included into country's development strategy

Strong agricultural sector. This is one of the points of the country's social and economic development strategy for the next five years. The emphasis is on organic farming. Foods produced with environmentally friendly technologies are becoming more and more popular. Three dozen enterprises are working in organic farming in Belarus. About 400 farms are located in the north of the country alone. Their promotion and de-urbanization are also among the provisions of the strategy of social and economic development.
