Novelties from Belarusian agrarian scientists

Belarusian agrarian scientists have showcased a number of new developments, e.g. "Voit" leek is very popular. Among other novelties are several varieties of winter and spring garlic. As was noted by the Institute of Vegetable Production, one of the main tasks of breeders is to create frost-resistant products. This is why spring garlic that doesn’t lose its useful properties throughout the year. According to scientists, domestic varieties of apple trees and pears have also turned out to be a success. They coped with the frost and are to give a good crop in the fall.
