New opportunities for Belarusian pharmaceutical industry

The situation in the world has opened up new niches for the export of the Belarusian pharmaceutical industry. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Health Dmitry Cherednichenko. The geography has expanded significantly. And the countries of the far Arc – Latin America and Africa – have been added to our traditional markets. Medicines from Belarus are expected in Vietnam, Syria, Iraq, Kenya, Nigeria and other regions. Every year Belarus puts on the market about 60 new medicines of its own production. Also in the country, 50% of the range of pharmacies and up to 70% of drugs for the treatment of patients in clinics are of Belarusian production, and this significantly reduces dependence on imports.
