New oil field discovered in Rechitsa district

Drilling a well using hydraulic fracturing technology at a depth of 4.2 thousand meters and testing subsalt sediments resulted in a commercial oil inflow at a rate of about 30 cubic meters per day. The new field is awaiting detailed study of its structure, placement on the state balance sheet and calculation of hydrocarbon reserves. According to preliminary expert estimates, they are not less than 200 thousand tons.
