New oil deposits and an oil field discovered in Gomel region

Belorusneft received oil inflows in several zones of the Pripyat trough. According to geologists, the resource base of hydrocarbons at the new oil field and deposits exceeds 6 million tons in total. In the Bragin district, the commercial oil-bearing capacity of deposits in the Vostochno-Omelkovshchina structure has been confirmed. According to preliminary estimates, the resource base here is estimated at 500,000 tons of oil.
