New objects of forestry enterprises of the Minsk region

This year, the forestry of the Minsk region will be replenished with new significant objects. The program includes 22 investment industrial projects. In Borisov, the second workshop for the production of pellets is being built by a local forestry enterprise. The production of wood pellets is planned to be established in the Berezinsky, Chervensky, Uzdensky, Logoisky forestries. In addition, low-grade wood is also used at new Euro-pallet production facilities in Vileyka, Slutsk, and Kopyl. All new enterprises are mainly export oriented. In general, last year the forestries of the Minsk region processed over 4.5 million cubic meters of wood, produced 411,000 cubic meters of sawn timber.
