MPs preparing innovations for agricultural sector

MPs of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus are considering a new draft law “On selection and seed production”. It spells out the rights, obligations and performance records of the industry's employees. In particular, it is proposed to reward specialists whose selected varieties become popular in the country and abroad. In addition, the law will regulate the operation of enterprises that may be engaged in seed production. The document also regulates the obligations of Belarus within the Eurasian Economic Union in terms of export and import of relevant products and services.
