Minsk region's agricultural enterprises preparing for harvesting

Agricultural enterprises of the Minsk region plan to bring in at least two million tons of grain during the harvesting campaign. Preparation of equipment is underway. It should be fully ready by July 10th. Farmers expect high yields of winter wheat and triticale. Traditionally, the farms of the capital region also focus on the cultivation of corn. New equipment has arrived, too. The day before, farms in the Kopyl, Borisov, Miadel and Minsk districts got the first batch of the most advanced combine harvesters made by Gomselmash. They feature a precision farming system. In total, agricultural enterprises of the Minsk region will get 40 of these harvesters this month.
