MART issued clarifications on the new price regulation system

Emphasis on clear and transparent principles of trade markups. There are no significant adjustments for importers and retailers; the main innovations concern manufacturers. Separately, price regulation is established for seasonal goods, including products from the "borscht set", as well as apples, cucumbers and tomatoes. Their cost can be increased no more than 3.5% compared to the same month last year. This will eliminate the chaotic rise in prices during the off-season period. At the same time, MART will continue to monitor pricing on the market and this year they will take a closer look at the cost of dairy items, household appliances and spare parts for cars.
