Maize harvesting for silage

The harvesting of corn for silage and green fodder has started in Belarus. The culture gives a good yield. So, in the Grodno region, on average, up to 350 centners of green mass are harvested per hectare. And this is a much higher indicator than last year's one. For storage, corn is laid in silage trenches. Even at the stage of cleaning, conservants are added to it, the humidity and temperature during tamping are strictly monitored. Within a month, the high-calorie protein mass can be used for animal feed.
