Living wage budget increases in Belarus

The living wage budget is increasing in Belarus. From November 1, this figure is 288 rubles. This is the fourth recalculation of the social standard this year. Along with the growth of living wage budget, various allowances and increases built into the social protection system will also change, as well as individual social benefits calculated from the size of the living wage budget: the size of state benefits to families raising children, social pensions, increases to pensions that are provided for certain categories of pensioners, additional payments and allowances for pensioners aged 75 and over, allowances for caring for a disabled person of group I or for a person who has reached 80 years of age.
