Institute of Forest develops microclonal propagation of trees

Specialists of the Gomel Institute of Forest of the National Academy of Sciences are actively developing the method of micropropagation of trees. With its help, in laboratory conditions, planting material is abundantly grown from a small amount of initial elements. Such plants are genetically more homogeneous and healthy. Now more than 150 trees are grown in vitro in the laboratories of the Institute.
